We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead our growth efforts in this vibrant sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales initiatives, engaging with key decision-makers, and positioning our company as the preferred partner in logistics solutions. Your proactive approach and sales acumen will be key in expanding our market footprint and achieving ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Proactively identify and target potential customers within the logistics and transportation industries. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through effective lead generation strategies, cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering customized freight solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and tailored services that meet their specific requirements.
  • Consultative Selling: Use a consultative sales approach to communicate the value proposition of our logistics solutions, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that address customer pain points and maximize value.
  • Business Growth: Drive revenue by aggressively pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic account management and expanding our market presence.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and maintain a competitive advantage. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance service offerings and improve client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proven track record in outbound sales with a strong ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to thrive in a competitive, commission-based role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $75,000 annually.
  • Commission: 20% of profit after $31,250 of profit is achieved.
  • Total compensation is expected to significantly exceed the base salary based on performance.
