We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management, working closely with our CPA firm to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Experience in bookkeeping within the healthcare industry is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and process payroll, including tracking employee hours and benefits.
• Coordinate with the CPA firm to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Generate financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial operations.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
