We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy team at a facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Specializing in comprehensive therapeutic services aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being, our facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of rehabilitation services, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the therapy team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting professional growth and development among team members.
- Conduct regular meetings, performance evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure the team meets clinical and operational goals.
- Oversee the assessment and treatment planning process for clients, ensuring individualized care plans are developed and implemented.
- Monitor therapy sessions and client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in rehabilitation therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care plans for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, progress, and goals.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance therapeutic services and promote the overall wellness of clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation therapy, incorporating advancements into program development.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities related to rehabilitation services, including resource allocation and expense management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of therapy services, ensuring compliance with billing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- Current state licensure and certification as required for practice.
- Proven experience in rehabilitation therapy, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities, ensuring optimal client care and outcomes.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and MS Office suite.

Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
