We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team in Cherrydale, Virginia. This role is crucial in assisting new residents and their families with the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive transition into our facility. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and highly skilled at managing the details of admissions while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide new residents and their families through the admission process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate room assignments and prepare for resident arrivals.
  • Communicate with families to provide clear information on services, policies, and expectations.
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with financial paperwork as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions and census data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new residents during their transition into the facility.
  • Provide support and reassurance to residents and families, making the onboarding experience as smooth as possible.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) admissions or a related healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a welcoming, supportive experience for new residents and families.
  • Must reside in the Arlington, Virginia area or have strong community ties.

Compensation:

Base salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience).
