We are seeking full-time, experienced Technology Technicians to join our growing team based out of Toronto. As a Technology Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and programming of various systems in elder care environments, including nurse call systems, intercom communication systems, security systems (CCTV), FOB access control systems, and other life safety technologies. You will ensure these systems are installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and fully operational to support the needs of the facility and its residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and program nurse call systems, intercom systems, security systems, CCTV, FOB access systems, and other related technologies in senior living facilities.
• Terminate and test voice and data cabling systems to ensure smooth communication and network functionality.
• Provide troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance to ensure systems remain operational and up to date.
• Install and ensure the proper functioning of security systems, including cameras, alarm systems, and emergency communication networks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, offering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all installations meet expectations.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with the latest technology in the industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience with system installations, particularly in the areas of nurse call systems, security systems (CCTV), intercom systems, and access control systems.
• At least 2 years of experience with voice and data cabling, network terminations, and testing.
• Experience with PBX installation and communication systems, particularly Panasonic systems, is preferred.
• A solid understanding of basic computer systems and IT networks would be an asset.
• Valid Canadian Work Permit and Driver’s License are required.
• English proficiency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Wi-Fi installation and wireless systems.
• Experience with nurse call systems or voice-over-IP (VoIP) technologies.
• CCTV installation experience is highly preferred.
