Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and business development strategies designed to increase patient census and grow referral networks across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals, liaisons, and admissions personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure the team meets and exceeds census and admissions targets while maintaining alignment with the organization’s overall goals.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, physician groups, discharge planners, case managers, and community organizations. Proactively engage these stakeholders to drive patient admissions and position our facilities as the preferred choice for skilled nursing care.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and healthcare regulations. Identify new opportunities for business growth, while staying agile in responding to challenges within the market.
  • Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives: Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, digital outreach efforts, and community engagement initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness, strengthening referral partnerships, and enhancing patient and family engagement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor census trends, team performance, and the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Provide regular reports to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in healthcare conferences, community events, and networking opportunities to enhance the visibility of our organization, solidify our reputation, and generate referrals from new and existing partners.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare marketing and business development, with a solid understanding of census growth strategies, referral processes, and regulatory frameworks in the Maryland healthcare landscape.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams, including marketing, admissions, and liaison staff. A track record of driving results through collaborative leadership and team empowerment.
  • Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, branding, outreach strategies, and relationship-building techniques. Experience leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels to increase visibility and generate referrals.
  • Healthcare Network Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local healthcare networks, referral systems, and community organizations, with the ability to build strategic partnerships that enhance patient flow and support census growth.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence healthcare professionals, internal teams, and senior leadership.
