We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity of our organization, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QuickBooks, possess a strong background in homecare or ABA, and bring a great personality to our collaborative office environment. This is a full-time, in-office role where you will work closely with our finance and operations teams to maintain efficient and transparent financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in QuickBooks
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records
  • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Manage invoicing and collections, ensuring timely payments
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with tax preparation and audits as needed
  • Develop and implement best practices for financial management within the company

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in homecare or ABA industry
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Great personality with excellent communication skills to interact with different departments
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

Compensation

  • Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
