Wonderway ABA offers specialized ABA therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Atlanta and Alpharetta, GA. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated BCBA to join our team. In this role, you will design and oversee therapy plans, conduct assessments, and provide clinical supervision to staff. Your work will directly contribute to improving the lives of children with autism.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessment data. Tailor each treatment to address specific behaviors, communication skills, and developmental needs of each client.
  • Supervise and mentor behavior technicians (RBTs), ensuring they are well-trained and adhering to best practices. Provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure therapy sessions are conducted effectively.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes and triggers of undesired behaviors. Write detailed, data-driven reports and make actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with families, offering education and guidance to ensure consistency in implementing behavioral strategies across various settings, such as at home, school, and in therapy.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, analyzing data to determine the effectiveness of interventions. Adjust treatment plans based on data, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing professional development to staff through feedback, regular meetings, and skill-building opportunities. Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages growth and development for both clients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid BCBA certification and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Minimum of one year of direct experience in an ABA therapy setting, demonstrating proficiency in designing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans.
  • Strong, evidence-based knowledge of ABA principles, including reinforcement, behavior modification techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Ability to independently assess client needs, develop individualized plans, and modify interventions as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in-person, for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, handle paperwork, and maintain timely documentation.
  • Experience in supervising, mentoring, and training behavior technicians, with a focus on building team capacity.
  • Compassion and dedication to working with children and families, with a strong focus on achieving meaningful outcomes.

Compensation

  • Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year.
