We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate CALA (Certified Assisted Living Administrator) for a 250-bed Assisted Living Facility in Atco, NJ. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that residents receive exceptional care while also maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. You will lead the facility’s staff, manage budgets, and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for residents, all while ensuring smooth and effective operations across the facility. This is a leadership role that requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Resident and Family Engagement: Cultivate a positive atmosphere by maintaining open communication with residents, families, and team members. Actively foster relationships that reflect the facility's mission of providing compassionate care and support.
- Leadership and Team Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of all staff. Ensure that employees are consistently motivated, supported, and developed to maintain high levels of care and service.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor, evaluate, and improve all aspects of the facility’s operations. Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements while enhancing the quality of care provided to residents.
- Financial Oversight: Take full responsibility for the facility’s financial performance. This includes managing the budget, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that the financial aspects of the facility are in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Sales and Marketing: Lead sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy and achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with the team to create and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure the facility is in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections, prepare for surveys, and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
- Resident Care: Work directly with staff to maintain and enhance residents’ well-being, ensuring that individualized care plans are properly executed and that residents’ needs are always met.
Qualifications
- A valid and active CALA license in New Jersey is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Assisted Living or Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC).
- Proven experience in leadership, team management, and operational oversight.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial management and budget oversight.
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, fostering a supportive and positive work environment.
Compensation
- Salary: $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
