A premier provider of specialty infusion and injection services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Marketer to join our team in Manhattan, focusing on the vibrant area below 100th Street. This role is pivotal in driving referrals for IV-based treatments, which address a range of illnesses, including autoimmune disorders, neurological conditions, and chronic infections. The Medical Sales Marketer will build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals to promote our services. Leveraging existing networks and creating new opportunities, you will play a key role in expanding our patient base and ensuring that cutting-edge therapies reach those who need them most.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Outreach Strategies: Identify and target physicians’ offices, hospitals, and clinics in Manhattan below 100th Street to generate referrals, using in-person visits, presentations, and networking events.

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster long-term partnerships with healthcare providers to ensure a steady stream of patient referrals.

  • Educate Healthcare Professionals: Conduct lunch-and-learn sessions, breakfast meetings, and one-on-one discussions to inform doctors and staff about the benefits of our IV therapies.

  • Track and Report Sales Activities: Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts using CRM software to monitor progress and identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Ensure seamless communication between referral sources and clinical/insurance teams, addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up with advancements in IV-based treatments, competitors, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Meet Sales Targets: Achieve quarterly and annual referral goals, contributing to patient census growth and overall revenue.

  • Represent the Brand: Maintain a polished and professional demeanor in all interactions, upholding our commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in sales, with a strong background in marketing to medical offices or healthcare facilities. Experience generating referrals for specialty treatments or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare operations, hospital referrals, and insurance navigation. Knowledge of infusion services is a plus.

  • Sales Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Local Expertise: Familiarity with the Manhattan healthcare market, particularly below 100th Street.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field. Equivalent medical sales experience may be considered.

  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to attend evening/weekend networking events as needed.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience.

  • Commission: Uncapped commissions tied to referral volume and patient conversions.
