CubX Inc. is looking for a Video Content Specialist to create engaging and professional video content using tools like Synthesia, with a future focus on social media posting and digital marketing. This role requires a sharp, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of video editing and content creation, capable of producing high-quality videos that align with CubX’s brand and objectives. The specialist will also assist with technical tasks, such as creating instructional videos, like one demonstrating multifactor authentication setup for Microsoft 365 admin users. This remote position offers the opportunity to grow into a broader content creation and social media role, contributing to CubX’s digital marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit professional videos using Synthesia, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with CubX’s brand guidelines.
- Develop video content for various purposes, including instructional guides (e.g., demonstrating multifactor authentication setup for Microsoft 365 admin), promotional materials, and client-facing tutorials.
- Interpret project briefs and contextual requirements to produce videos that effectively communicate technical or marketing messages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure video content supports broader digital campaigns and client engagement goals.
- Maintain an organized library of video assets and ensure all content is up-to-date and accessible.
- Gradually take on social media posting responsibilities, scheduling and publishing video content across platforms like LinkedIn, X, and others.
- Stay updated on video editing trends, Synthesia features, and digital marketing best practices to enhance content quality.
- Ensure all video content is polished, professional, and optimized for target audiences, with attention to visual and narrative flow.
- Participate in training to refine video editing skills and learn additional tools as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing and content creation, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work (experience with Synthesia is a plus but not required, as training will be provided).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to create contextually relevant, engaging video content.
- Background or experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management is highly desirable to support future responsibilities.
- Sharp, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into accessible video content.
- Proficiency with general computer skills and familiarity with video editing software or platforms (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar tools).
- Creative eye for design, layout, and branding to ensure videos are visually appealing and professional.
- Comfortable working remotely with high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download/upload speed) and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, to collaborate with teams and create client-facing content.
- Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
Compensation
- Base salary of $1,750 USD per month.
