We are looking for a proactive and skilled Account Manager for Business Development specializing in medical billing services tailored to skilled nursing facilities. In this role, you will drive the expansion of our Medicaid application support service throughout Northern and Central New Jersey while also supporting clients in neighboring states with out-of-state travel a few times each month. By helping facilities streamline complex Medicaid paperwork and ensuring timely payments, you will deliver an invaluable service that provides peace of mind to families and ensures nursing homes can focus on care. Responsibilities:

  • Upsell and Promote Medicaid Services: Proactively engage with skilled nursing facilities to promote our specialized Medicaid application assistance service, showcasing the benefits of streamlined, accurate application processing to enhance cash flow and reduce administrative burdens on facility staff.
  • Account Management and Client Relationship Development: Serve as the primary account manager for assigned facilities, fostering trust and building long-lasting partnerships. You will provide ongoing support, address client needs, and actively promote expanded adoption of our services within each organization.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate coordination across facility departments through regular meetings, ensuring that all relevant team members—from administrators to billing staff—fully understand and utilize our services.
  • In-Person Support and Educational Outreach: Build rapport and offer hands-on support to business office managers at nursing facilities, demonstrating how our services can seamlessly integrate with their existing workflows. Regularly conduct on-site training to ensure full implementation and answer questions as needed.
  • Regional and Out-of-State Travel: Commit to weekly travel within Northern and Central New Jersey to maintain close client connections and support service expansion. Additionally, you will make out-of-state trips a few times each month to extend our reach and cultivate relationships with clients beyond the immediate region.

Qualifications:

  • Sales and Account Management Experience: A strong background in sales, ideally within healthcare, medical billing, or insurance, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue and grow client accounts. Experience with Medicaid or other insurance application processes is highly preferred.
  • Superior Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly establish trust and rapport, communicate the value of services effectively, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and their teams.
  • Exceptional Organizational and Detail Orientation: Proven ability to manage complex documentation, ensuring no details are missed and that Medicaid applications are completed accurately to avoid delays.
  • Travel Readiness: A flexible schedule that allows for extensive weekly travel within New Jersey and additional out-of-state trips each month, as needed.

Compensation and Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary between $115,000 and $125,000 annually, supplemented by a commission structure that rewards high performance and service expansion.
