The Community Education Liaison (CEL) will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers, in North Shore, MA. The role focuses on educating the community about CareOne’s services, fostering connections with local healthcare networks, and ensuring a high standard of care for patients transitioning to CareOne’s facilities. The CEL will serve as the primary point of contact for outreach and community education, establishing CareOne’s presence and reputation in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, and hospitals in North Shore, MA to increase referrals and facilitate smooth transitions to CareOne facilities.
- Promote CareOne’s services and programs to various community organizations, healthcare professionals, and the public, with an emphasis on education and awareness.
- Coordinate and conduct educational events and seminars for healthcare professionals and the general public, presenting CareOne’s offerings, services, and patient care strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between CareOne’s facilities and the local healthcare community, ensuring smooth communication and seamless care transitions for patients.
- Actively follow up with referral sources to ensure patient satisfaction and continued partnership.
- Monitor and evaluate market trends and competitor activity to strategically position CareOne in North Shore, MA.
- Work closely with the Admissions team to ensure that all necessary documentation and referrals are properly processed and recorded.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies for expanding CareOne’s network and improving the visibility of its services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in healthcare marketing, community outreach, or business development, particularly in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings.
- Knowledge of the healthcare market in North Shore, MA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and represent CareOne to various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel within the designated service areas of North Shore, MA.
Compensation
- Competitive salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year (based on experience and book of business).
