Sales Manager - Home Care
Location: New York
Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 (Based on Book of Business)

A leading provider of home care services in New York, specializing in Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Programs (CDPAP), Home Health Aides (HHA), Medicaid planning, and support for individuals with disabilities and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a home care sales team. This individual must have a strong background in the home care industry, having successfully sold home care services. The ideal candidate will be a leader and mentor, capable of managing and coaching a team of six junior marketers who require hands-on training and development. This role is designed for a hands-on professional who thrives in the field, working directly with marketers and clients to drive business growth. The Sales Manager will spend the majority of their time on the road, fostering relationships, securing referrals, and expanding market presence. In-office presence is required only once a month for strategic meetings and team alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of six junior marketers, equipping them with the skills needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase referrals and client acquisition.
  • Actively work in the field alongside marketers, providing real-time coaching and guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations to generate leads.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and establish performance goals to ensure success.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Drive business growth by securing partnerships and strengthening referral pipelines.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve the sales team’s knowledge of home care services and effective marketing techniques.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales tactics and achieve company growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in home care sales, with a strong track record of success.
  • Previous leadership experience managing a sales team.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and elevate a junior sales team to become top performers.
  • Extensive network in the home care, healthcare, or social services industries is a strong plus.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 based on book of business/portfolio.
  • Performance-based incentives and bonuses.
