We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operational and growth initiatives. The COO will play a critical role in scaling our business operations, optimizing processes, and driving revenue growth. This position demands a unique blend of leadership, marketing expertise, and operational acumen to oversee our diverse sales channels, including wholesale, online, and partnerships with major retailers. As a key executive, the COO will collaborate closely with the CEO and other leadership members to ensure Gourmia’s continued success and market dominance.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic vision for operational growth and scalability, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and market opportunities.
- Sales Channel Management: Oversee and optimize sales across all channels, including online e-commerce platforms, wholesale distribution, and partnerships with major retailers like Walmart.
- Marketing Oversight: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive consumer engagement, blending the roles of COO and CMO.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline and enhance internal operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
- Retail Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, ensuring alignment on growth objectives and execution.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Performance Analysis: Develop and track KPIs to monitor the success of operational and sales strategies, ensuring timely adjustments to meet objectives.
- Wholesale Growth: Expand Gourmia’s presence in the wholesale space, leveraging opportunities to penetrate new markets and secure large-scale partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a COO, or in a senior leadership role with a focus on scaling businesses in the consumer goods sector.
- Deep understanding of online sales channels and e-commerce operations.
- Experience working with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, or Costco.
- Expertise in wholesale operations and supply chain management.
- Strong marketing acumen with a proven track record of driving brand growth.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and accountability.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a history of mentoring and developing talent.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Compensation
- Base salary: $250,000 - $350,000, commensurate with experience.
