We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager with a strong background in retail, wholesale, or consumer products to join their growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for their clients, ensuring they maximize the value of their platform and services. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships, driving customer success, and identifying opportunities for growth. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of 75-100 clients in the retail, wholesale, or consumer product sectors, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Provide strategic consultation to clients, helping them leverage their platform’s full capabilities to optimize inventory management, streamline operations, and enhance sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to analyze key metrics and identify opportunities for optimization, specifically within retail and wholesale business models.
  • Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling additional features and services tailored to consumer product brands.
  • Lead renewal negotiations and proactively address any client concerns to maintain a high retention rate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices within retail, wholesale, and consumer goods to provide value-driven recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and training sessions to educate clients on best practices and new features that impact retail and wholesale operations.
  • Act as a client advocate within the company, ensuring customer feedback from retail and consumer brands is incorporated into product development and service enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Client Relations, with a strong preference for experience in retail, wholesale, or consumer products.
  • Deep understanding of retail and wholesale operations, including supply chain dynamics, inventory management, and digital commerce trends.
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms that serve retail, wholesale, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships, driving renewals, and expanding account revenue.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and other SaaS platforms such as Shopify, ZoomInfo, or Microsoft 365.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret insights, and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year.
