We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Mahwah, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and earthwork and will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in project management software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best terms and prices.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee project execution and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on concrete and earthwork projects.
- Proficiency in project management software/platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
