We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Director of Online Sales to lead our digital sales strategy and execution. This role will focus on expanding our online presence, managing relationships with key platforms such as Amazon Vendor, and driving revenue through innovative sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private label sales, experience working with manufacturers, and expertise in navigating the complexities of online marketplaces. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be instrumental in scaling our digital footprint.
Responsibilities
- Online Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive online sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives.
- Amazon Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Amazon Vendor (not resellers), optimizing listings, pricing, and performance to maximize sales and profitability.
- Private Label Expertise: Oversee private label sales initiatives, ensuring effective product positioning and alignment with brand standards.
- Manufacturer Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturers to ensure timely production, inventory management, and adherence to quality standards.
- E-Commerce Optimization: Analyze and improve online sales channels, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience.
- Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and marketplace changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to track the success of online sales efforts, providing regular performance reports to leadership.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing online sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in online sales leadership, with a focus on private label sales.
- Expertise in working with Amazon Vendor (not Amazon resellers), including a strong understanding of platform requirements and best practices.
- Experience overseeing manufacturers and managing supply chain dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with key online partners.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with consumer goods and a passion for innovation in the kitchen appliance space is highly preferred.
Compensation
- Base salary: $200,000 - $225,000, commensurate with experience.
